Brad Pascoe has taken out a surprise victory in Round Five of the McCosker Super Sedan Series at Roma Speedway on Saturday night.
Pascoe recorded two fourth placed finishes and a second placed finish to start the feature race from P4. Josh McLaren was top point scorer and started from pole with Sean Black on his outside.
McLaren won the initial start, but it would be Justin Randall who would lead the first circulation after passing both McLaren and Black. Mechanical drama would force Black from the race after just two laps, elevating Pascoe to third.
Pascoe passed McLaren on lap three and began pressuring Randall for the lead. Randall was battling with the car and Pascoe pounced for the lead.
Randall would eventually head to the infield with McLaren moving to second with Nicholas O’Keeffe in third. Pascoe would greet the the chequers comfortably clear of McLaren in second.
O’Keeffe pressured his team mate all the way, but would still cross the line third. John Sheehan was the only other finisher in fourth.
