The opening round of the 2018/2019 Cranecorp Australia WA Modified Sedan Series will be held this Saturday at the Make Smoking History Bunbury Speedway as a part of the 50th Anniversary Race Meeting for Speedway Sedans Australia.

WA Modified Sedans are thrilled to be able hold the first round of their series in conjunction with such a prestigious event, with a quality field of fourteen Modified Sedans entered.

Current Western Australian Modified Sedan Champion Anthony King heads the nomination list in his Totally Independent Tyre Service Ford Falcon. King will be looking to start the season in the best possible fashion after enduring a tough run during last summer’s series with mechanical woes.

Former WA Modified Sedan Champions Clint & Matt Noakes will be tough to beat along with locals Allan Mortimer and Adam Houston.

Recent Modified Sedan converts Rick Musarra, Jayden McCuish, Paul Stevens and Sandy Macpherson should all be prominent in their Holden Commodores.

Nathan Penn takes back over the reigns of his Dad Bill’s Ford Falcon for this season with the Penn team expanding to two Falcons for this season with Merv Penn joining the division.

Racing gets underway from 2pm with Modified Sedans apart of a big program with full coverage available across many media platforms
