Hayden Norman has today bounced back from a disappointing finish in yesterdays Brian Rose Memorial/RDA 100 to claim the feature win at Ellenbrook Speedway today in wet conditions.

With weather threatening the entire event, officials worked hard to even get underway, with the track being prepped through the night to give the best chance of competition this morning.

A number of showers hit but the team persevered and managed to get through all the heat races for all divisions, with Norman, Peter Herbert and Jason Oldfield each claiming a win in the Street Stock heats.

Herbert would start on the front row of the feature alongside Ryan Penfold, and with track conditions challenging at best and a rain that started out as a light drizzle and slowly got worse, it was Norman who made the most of his chances to hit the front.

Just as the race hit the halfway mark the showers got worse and with cars slipping and sliding all over the track, the call was made to declare the race with Norman getting the win over Anthony Heelan and Peter Herbert.

Blake Iwanow claimed three wins from three starts in the Top Star Junior Sedans while Beau Oldfield did the same in the New Star Junior Sedans. Daniel Flavel claimed two wins in the Productions Sedans while his father Warren claimed the other.

Ellenbrook Speedway will be back for the final time this season on the 7th of October for the Grand Ginal Meeting.
