Hayden Norman has picked up right where he left off last season, claiming the feature win in Street Stocks at Ellenbrook Speedways opening meeting for 2018.

Norman was all class all day, claiming all three of the preliminary heats to set up a front row start in the feature alongside Damion Huntjens.

As the race went green Norman was quickly into the lead while Carl Pickersgill quickly slipped into second place, followed by Ben Norman and Huntjens.

After a restart caused by Aaron Sutton and Rob Wells spinning, Huntjens passed Ben Norman for third while shortly after Pickersgill had his own lose and dropped back to fifth.

Up ahead though, Hayden Norman had stormed ahead of the rest of thr field while younger brother Ben worked his way into second for a Norman 1, 2.

Shortly after though, Huntjens worked his way back past Ben for second and from here the order remained unchanged, Hayden Norman defeating Damion Huntjens and Ben Norman.

This sets Norman up for a strong run in a fortnights time for the WA Street Stock Title to be held at Carnarvon Speedway, with further information in coming weeks.
