Just one week after Round 2 of the 2019/2020 Civil Hirings WA Modified Sedan Series was won by Rick Musarra in Kalgoorlie, the WA Modified Sedans will be back in action at the Make Smoking History Collie Speedway on Saturday evening.

Round 3 of the series will be proudly supported by Peter and Sharon Fraser from Civil Hirings and will see a number of quick drivers looking for feature race glory. Rick Musarra is fresh off his round win last weekend and will look to replicate that this weekend, but will have a number of drivers hoping to spoil his party.

Branden Fraser is beginning to stitch together a consistent season and was knocking on the door of a round win last weekend. Narrogin’s Paul Stevens is another driver who was very quick in Kalgoorlie and is no stranger to the Collie Speedway track. Stevens’ sister Coby will also be in the field and look to resume hostilities with Jayke Malcolm after the pair battled throughout the night in Kalgoorlie.

WA Modified Sedan Series regulars Luke Fraser and Anthony King had a disappointing end to the night last weekend and will be looking to rebound and earn back some valuable series points in Collie.

Shane Dubberlin on board his VS Holden Commodore finished fifth a week ago and is showing great pace, though will have fellow southwest racers in Adam Houston and Kim Williams to contend with, as they will look to use their experience to get the upper hand on their competitors.

Geraldton’s Ashley Baker will rejoin the series in Collie after finishing on the podium at the opening round of the 2019/2020 Civil Hirings WA Modified Sedan Series. He will be joined by Carnarvon’s Jarrod Rick who will also join the series for the first time this weekend. Rick has shown great pace on board his new Ford Falcon in the northern part of the state during the winter months and will this weekend see how he compares with the top racers in the WA Modified Sedan Series.

Racing will get underway from 6pm at the Make Smoking History Collie Speedway this Saturday night, with three heat races for each driver, the Southern Stump and Mulching Services Shootout and twenty lap final. If you can’t make it be sure to follow along on our Facebook page with results and photos being posted throughout the night.
