The Nickol Bay Speedway located in Karratha Western Australia some sixteen hundred kilometres north of the state capital Perth will host its annual New Years Eve Spectacular this evening.
It has been exactly one year since the venue last held a race meeting after cyclone Damien destroyed alot of the infrastructure back in February.
Through the support of many local businesses and the hard work of the club’s members, the Nickol Bay Speedway is ready to host racing again with the Mitsubishi Motors Pilbara New Years Eve Spectacular set to kick off a big twelve months for the sport in the region.
A solid field of SSA Street Stocks are set to do battle tonight with competitors coming from around the north of the state to race in Karratha.
SSA Production Sedans and SSA Junior Sedans are also apart of a huge program of racing with weather conditions set to be extremely warm in the Pilbara.
