David Nichols has become the first two time round winner of the season, after taking out the win in Round Four of the Walsh Marine Services Tasmanian Super Sedan Series at Solo Hobart Speedway on Saturday night.
Nichols started the feature race from third, with Steve Latham and state champion Callum Harper on the front row.
Latham and Nichols jumped to first and second respectively, with Harper settling into third. Latham led the first three laps before Nichols made his move for the lead.
Harper moved around the outside of Latham on lap twelve and set off after Nichols. Harper was putting immense pressure on Nichols for the final ten laps, but Nichols would hold on for an impressive win.
Latham would hold on for third with Adam Beechey and Laura Davidson rounding out the top five, in fourth and fifth respectively.
It is now very tight at the top of the series points with just 22 points separating the top four with three rounds remaining!
