The McCosker Super Sedan Series rolls on with round five brought to you by AFCO Shock Doctor this Saturday night at the site of the 2023 National Super Sedan Title Mothar Mountain Speedway in Gympie.
Sean Black returned to winning ways at Brisbane last weekend and will be looking to continue his strong run in the lead up to the National Title in April.
Black became the first man to defeat National Champion Matty Pascoe this season, with Pascoe having a quiet night by his lofty standards.
Prior to last weekend Pascoe had won three feature races on the trot, and will be hoping to find some on the track that he will make a bid to win his fifth National Title.
Steve Jordan was victorious last time out Gympie.
Jordan defeated Black in a photo finish winning by a remarkable 0.001 of a second.
Jordan has struggled so far this season in feature races, but will be looking to turn the tide this Saturday at Gympie.
Brad Pascoe was the runner up last weekend in Brisbane, and will be looking take the top step of the podium this weekend at Gympie.
Mitchell Gee secured his second podium of the season last weekend in Brisbane.
Gee will be hoping to find some good form in the lead up to his first National Super Sedan Title. Racing will kick off at 5pm with drivers set to tackle three heats each, which will set the field for the thirty five lap main event.
