The Speedway Sedans Australia, 50th Anniversary Event was a massive success in Western Australia last month, and this Saturday night it will be South Australias turn, to be held at the Borderline Speedway, with 57 drivers entering the event to celebrate 50 years of the Australian Saloon Car Federation which has become Speedway Sedans Australia.
The biggest field is the Street Stock field, with 31 drivers entered, with the event doubling as the opening round of the MJS Street Stock Series.
It is an incredibly strong field, featuring National Champion Anthony Beare, along with former National Champions, Brad McClure, Mark Jennings and Rhys Heinrich. With the National Title less than six months away, it is expected that nearly every driver competing on Saturday night will be in the Title, so this will be a great guide to what fans can expect.
Super Sedans will have their first hit out for the season at Borderline, just a fortnight before the re-run of last seasons State Title which was cancelled due to rain. It will also see the first appearance of the season of five times and current State Champion, Dave Gartner, who will take on Ryan Alexander and Kym Jury, along with Lucas Roberts from Victoria.
Junior Sedans and Classic Sedans are also on the program which commences at 6.00pm
