The 2020/2021 Blackman Fabrication WA Modified Sedan Series heads to the Makit Hardware Narrogin Speedway this weekend, for the second round of the series, which is proudly presented by local company, Stevens Ceilings.
With yet another quality field of drivers entered, Luke Fraser will be an early favourite after claiming the opening round of the series a fortnight ago at Moora Speedway.
Anthony King, who lead much of the feature race in Moora will be hoping for some more luck this weekend, as he returns to the clay of Narrogin.
Hometown hero, Paul Stevens proved that he can never be discounted, after coming from towards the tail of the field to finish on the podium at the opening round of the series.
With plenty of experience around the Makit Hardware Narrogin Speedway, keep an eye out on Paul this Saturday night, as he looks to stand on the top step of the podium in the round that is proudly supported by his parents, Grant and Julie of Stevens Ceilings.
Young guns, Jayke Malcolm and Sam McAuley showed plenty of pace in Moora and will be looking to emulate that at Narrogin this weekend, as they search for a round win and all important series points, as will Adam Houston, who missed the first round of the series.
A number of other drivers found themselves on the wrong side of luck in the opening round of the series at Moora, with Branden Fraser, Kevin Ellement, Jarrod Rick, Blake Jackson and Ray Clifton all experiencing mechanical failures of some sort.
They will all be in search of some luck come this Saturday evening, though have some stiff competition to try and defeat.
Racing gets underway from 6pm this Saturday night at Makit Hardware Narrogin Speedway in Round 2 of the 2020/2021 Blackman Fabrication WA Modified Sedan Series. Each driver will have three qualifying heats, before the top 6 move into the Southern Stump and Mulching Services Shootout.
The winner of this will then start from pole positon in the all-important twenty lap main event. The WA Modified Drivers Association must thank all of our series sponsors for their ongoing support and particularly Grant and Julie Stevens from Stevens Ceilings, the main sponsors of the second round of the series.
