Former WA Super Sedan Champion Warren Minshull has gotten his quest for a second crown off to the best possible start as he tonight set the quickest time in practice at Albanys Attwell Park Speedway.
Minshull recorded a 17.256 second lap in the nineteenth practice session, some 0.344 seconds faster than the second quickest car in Gary Higgs who recorded a 17.600 second circulation.
Dean Shore, Damon Trouchet, Chris Pavlovich and Rob Knox were the only other drivers to dip into the seventeen second bracket.
Twenty four practice sessions were held with twenty of the twenty two nominated drivers taking the chance to practice: Kemble and Lee Aylett set to arrive in town tomorrow night.
Bert Vosbergen was the only car who practiced that failed to record a time after his transponder dropped off onto the track during his session.
Racing begins tomorrow night from 6pm, with drivers set to contest three heats each prior to the all important final.
Grid draws will be released later tonight while tomorrows event will be available on live audio from the Speedway Sedans website tomorrow night.
