Trent Quillerat has won the Ken Tatnell Memorial on Saturday night at the Cranes Combined Carrick Speedway for Modified Sedans.
After the two qualifying heats were won by youngster, Jakobe Jetson, and State Champion Brad Herbert, it would be that pair who would start on the front row for the twenty lap main event.
Herbert would lead Jetson and Quillerat through the first six laps, which is when Quillerat made his move, deposing Jetson on lap seven and then ascending to the lead on lap eight at the expense of Herbert.
Multiple State Champion Craig Williams, also started to get busy, moving to third on lap nine, before taking second place on lap twelve, setting out after Quillerat.
The pair moved well clear of the rest of the field, and by race end, were almost half a lap in front of the third place Herbert.
Quillerat would win by five car lengths, with Williams, Herbert, Jetson and Josh Stephens completing the top five placings.
Drivers will now focus on next weekends State Title at Latrobe.
