The McCosker Super Sedan Series is set to return this weekend with round one at Autobarn Carina International.
Fourteen drivers have nominated to kick off their season with National Champion Matty Pascoe headlining a stout field of drivers with an array of experience levels.
Pascoe returns to the track in a re-furbished Sweet Chassis no.22 with all of his latest updates.
Pascoe will be looking to kick off his season in perfect fashion as he aims to defend his National Title at Gympie in April.
Also in contention will be Townsville’s Trent Wilson who is coming off one of the best seasons in his career. Mitchell Gee will be hoping to secure his first Super Sedan feature win after coming close a number of times last season.
Debuting in the class is Bundaberg’s own Casey Collins who joins the class after a successful career in Junior Sedans and Modlites.
Collins has acquired an ex Wayne Randall Rocket, and will be hoping to hit the ground running in front of his home town fans.
Also making his debut will be Matt Hefford who joins the division from Speedcars.
Hefford has raced a bunch of different divisions, but showed great promise in his first practice session at Maryborough, and will be hoping to impress in his first Super Sedan event.Super Sedans are continuing to thrive across the country, this season is set to be no exception!
