This Saturday night the 10th of April the McCosker Super Sedan Series will be back in action at Brisbane’s Archerfield Speedway for round 13.
The round is supported by sedan veteran Wayne Randall’s Afco Shock Doctor business which is based in Munruben and services all forms of Motorsport.
Another high quality field of twenty five have nominated for the round which will be used by many to test car set ups for the biggest Sedan race on the mainland this year.
The 2nd Annual GP53, the next event on the calendar is scheduled for May 15th at the Brisbane venue.
The most dominant driver in the past few years at Archerfield Speedway and the inaugural GP53 winner is Matt Pascoe (Sweet 15/ Q1).
Pascoe has nominated but has told series officials he is racing against the clock to have his powerplant completed and installed in time for this Saturday.
As expected series leader Sean Black (Sweet 26) has nominated and Darren Kane returns from injury in the Dominator Australia 1.
Also in the field is a quartet of New South Wales drivers with series regulars Tania Smith (Rocket 3) and Hayden Brims (Rocket 111) being joined by Tyson Moon (Sweet 47) from Bega and Dion Bennett (Sweet 19) from Gilgandra.
Drivers will contest 2 rounds of heats each, the top eight will then go into the random bottle draw. Only twenty cars can start the feature so qualifiers 17 to 25 will have to race their way in through the B main to gain a starting spot in the 30 lap feature.
