Twenty two drivers are set to contest the opening round of the 2025/26 McCosker Super Sedan Series at Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway this Saturday night.
National Super Sedan Champion Joel Berkley headlines a star studded field of drivers who will be looking to get their 2025/26 campaigns off to the perfect start on the Toowoomba ‘High Banks’.
Berkley will renew hostilities with Mitchell Gee, who went head to head in an epic battle in the 2025 National Title at Murray Bridge. Gee has shown plenty of speed at Toowoomba including an Ian Boettcher Classic victory, and will look to take that form to victory lane on Saturday night.
Former National Champion Trent Wilson will be making the trek from Townsville and will be looking for his first victory since his National Title triumph in 2023.
Defending Ian Boettcher Classic Champion JJ Hamilton will be back aboard the Graeme Elliott owned Sweet Chassis, chasing another victory on the Toowoomba ‘High Banks’.
Toowoomba local Sean Black will be looking to hit the ground running this season, and will hope to get off to the perfect start in front of his home town fans.
Hayden and Zac Brims will make their first starts aboard a pair of Sweet Chassis that were acquired in the off season. Hayden will be behind the wheel of a brand new car, whilst Zac will pilot the ex Adrian Geary Sweet Chassis.
Zac Pascoe is another driver who has tasted success on the ‘High Banks’ of Toowoomba Speedway, and will be looking for the second victory of his career at Toowoomba.
Mick Nicola, Sam Hughes, Rob Hamilton, David Musch, Harry Doyle, and Michael Hally will all also be gunning for victory in the opening round of the season.
Racing is set to get underway at 440pm, with drivers set to contest two rounds of heats to set the field for the thirty lap feature event.
If you can’t make it to the venue every lap will be live on Clay-Per-View.
