After a seven month hiatus the Fraser Shores Maryborough finally welcomed backed Speedway Sedans Australia competitors for an action packed night of action on Saturday Night.
Great fields of Production Sedans, Junior Sedans and a solid field of Street Stocks enjoyed racing on the revamped track as the drivers showed no signs of rust due to the forced lengthy break in South East Queensland.
SSA New Star Junior Sedans welcomed a great field with as many as eleven competitors racing for the first time in what is a great sign for the sport in the region.
Local star Jayden Hancock took out the SSA Top Star Junior Sedans feature race in his Mitsubishi Lancer finishing ahead of Bundaberg standout Kurtis Peall and Kaine Richters.
National Production Sedan Champion Joel Berkley defeated a big field in the opening round of the Ian Boettcher Race Parts Super Series as the class is set for a big season in Maryborough.
Josh Harm has already put the “Patriot” to good use by defeating a small field in the SSA Street Stock fifteen lap main event.
The Fraser Shores Maryborough Speedway is back in action on Saturday 24th October with SSA Production Sedans and SSA Junior Sedans on the program.
