Last weekend it was Darran Lester who won the second round of the Modified Mayhem Series at Lismore Speedway and he did it in spectacular fashion, resetting the track record!
On a night where the record was broken five times across the night, Lester came away with the lowest mark, a 15.271 second lap recorded during the thirty lap feature in which he would lead every lap.
Shane MacDonald, who started from pole position, ran in second for the opening half of the race before being forced infield with mechanical dramas, seeing Jason Dreaver elevated into second, where he would stay for the remainder of the race.
Greg Worling finished third.
Focus now turns to the Kings Royal for the Modified Sedans at Kingaroy Speedway.
