Veteran racer Darren Larson has claimed victory in the main event for the 2024/2025 Marri Park Tavern WA Super Sedan Series contested last night at the Trade Hire Augusta Margaret River Speedway.
In a dramatic main event, front row starters Rob Knox and two time Western Australian Champion Warren Minshull both retired from the race after coming to grief in pits corner in two separate incidents.
Adrian Geary was also out after running inside the top three after finding the concrete wall on lap ten while Kemble Aylett’s main event was over on lap three after winning two heat races earlier in the night.
Darren Larson survived the drama unfolding in front of him to record a popular victory from Super Sedan rookie Darren Coles and Albany’s Glynn McBeath in a race that doubled as the inaugural Kevin Bell Memorial.
The 2024/2025 Marri Park Tavern WA Super Sedan Series recommences at the Collie Speedway on Saturday 21st December 2024.
