The SSA Junior Sedan South Australian Title will be decided tonight at the Borderline Speedway, and with a twenty-two car field coming from all over the country, it is sure to be a hard-fought contest!
With defending champion Will Fallon not in the field, a new winner is guaranteed. Among the leading chances are last year’s podium finishers, James Peacock and Steane Cosson, both returning with their sights on going one or two better.
Reigning National champion Lachie Burke makes the trip from Queensland, former National Champion Harrison Beres crosses from Western Australia and WA Champion and Australia #2 Lawson Clarke is also coming from New South Wales to be a contender.
As if these three contenders weren’t enough, Tasmanians Tyler Smith and Brookelyn Thompson, Queenslander Kailyn Humphreys and Victorians including Ryan Burns, Jake Bradley and the Beach siblings Maddie and Blake will also cross borders to be part of the show.
Local hopes include Brodie Reichstein, Henry Brumfield and Violet Thorne, all of whom have been tough to beat this season, meaning we have a stacked field.
Who walks away SA#1? It’s anyone’s guess!
Also on the program is the Matthew Neilson Memorial for SSA Street Stocks which has attracted nineteen nominations, and events for nine SSA Super Sedans.
