The first state title of the 2020/2021 season to be held in New South Wales is set for this Saturday Night for SSA Production Sedans at the Hession’s Auto Parts Grafton Speedway.
After the 2019/2020 title was not held due to the early onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, reigning champion Joel Berkley finally gets the opportunity to defend the title he won at Moruya in the early part of 2019.
SSA Production Sedans are booming in South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales currently with major events for the class being held every weekend at present.
Current Queensland champion Chris Pagel brings strong form to Grafton after a solid win in Gympie last Saturday Night with a number of fellow “banana benders” also heading across the border for the NSW Title.
Daniel Henshaw and Lismore’s Stuart Fawcett finished on the podium in this event back in 2018 at Gilgandra and are always contenders in their Holden Commodores.
Racing gets underway at 5pm with a live stream available at the Speedway Sedans NSW Facebook page.
