IT’S FINAL TIME FOR WA MODIFIED SEDANS

The 2020/2021 Blackman Fabrication WA Modified Sedan Series will come to a conclusion this weekend, with the final round of the series heading back to Moora Speedway, where the series began in October.

The event will be proudly supported by our series naming right’s sponsor Blackman Fabrication, as well as Cranecorp Australia with Rick and Sara Musarra again throwing their support behind Modified Sedan racing in Western Australia.

Headlining the nomination list for this weekend is newly crowned West Australian champion, Jayke Malcolm, who along with his team has worked hard over the Easter long weekend to rebuild the motor of his Holden Commodore in order to earn some valuable series points and show of the WA1 for the first time.

Joining Malcolm this weekend will be the formidable Fraser brothers, who can never be discounted in the WA Modified Sedan Series.

Luke Fraser narrowly missed out on winning his maiden West Australian Title in Collie a fortnight ago and will look to bounce back in Moora this weekend to add to his two round wins so far.

Brother Branden will also look to add to his two round wins in the 2020/2021 series to date in an attempt to win his second WA Modified Sedan Series in a row.

The ultra-consistent duo of Paul Stevens and Allan Mortimer will also return to Moora Speedway this weekend and will look to add their names to the round winners list for the first time this series.

Mortimer has unfortunately missed a couple of rounds this season due to work commitments, but will be one to watch this weekend as he looks to score all important series points.

Merv Penn and Adam Houston showed great pace at the State Title in Collie and will look to continue you that this weekend, searching for a podium finish or round win. Houston narrowly missed out on a podium finish in Collie earlier this season and will look to go one better in Moora.

The final nomination for this weekend’s series final is Perth based young gun Sam McAuley, who has had a stellar season in his first full tilt at series glory.

McAuley, who hasn’t missed a round of the Blackman Fabrication WA Modified Sedan Series has shown some good pace and will be one to watch as he steers his immaculate VK Holden Commodore around the Moora Speedway.

Racing gets underway from 6pm on Saturday night for the final time in the 2020/2021 Blackman Fabrication WA Modified Sedan Series.

Be sure to be at Moora to witness another full night of racing action, with a full support program of Speedcars, Junior Sedans, Productions Sedans and Street Stock.
