Over twenty Super Sedans are locked and loaded for the inaugural running of the Bert Vosbergen Memorial that will be held this Easter at Albany’s Attwell Park Speedway located on Western Australia’s South Coast.
Bert Vosbergen is one of the all time greats of Speedway Sedan racing in the West and was a regular competitor at the Attwell Park Speedway aboard the various creations that Bert raced over his career in Super Sedans.
Bert’s grandson Lee Aylett came within two laps of winning a maiden state title in Bunbury a fortnight ago and will be a man on a mission along with Brent Vosbergen who is racing the 4B which was is the final Super Sedan that Bert raced.
Western Australian champion Gary Higgs returns to the venue where he won his first state title back in November and is joined in the field for the first this season by son Dustin in the 18K Dominator.
Damon Trouchet, Kevin Bell and Rob Knox should all be prominent across the two nights of competition.Racing gets underway from 6pm tomorrow night.
