The opening night of the IBRP Kingaroy Speedway this Saturday night, will see in excess of 100 sedans compete, with 29 of them being Modified Sedans, with a stellar field entered, for what is effectively a club event.
The field is headed by Aidan Raymont, a former National Champion, and winner of the recently run, Gold Rush at Mothar Mountain Speedway, Gympie.
Raymont is not the only National Title holder in the field though, with Greg Worling, and Victorian Justin Drew also entered, along with former National Production Sedan Champion, Tim Atkin.
Atkin finished fourth in the Gold Rush event, while Mick Shelford who is also entered finished third. The Kingaroy Showground venue is conducive to exciting racing, which lends itself to three and four wide racing from the Modified Sedans.
Racing commences at 4.00pm with Modified Sedan racing from 5.30pm. Nine Qualifying heats will be contested prior to the A Main over 20 laps.
Events are also scheduled for Junior Sedans, Street Stock, Production Sedans and Super Sedans.
