Speedway Sedans Western Australia have finalised the field for the upcoming Bridgestone Kalgoorlie SSA Street Stock WA State Title to be held on Friday 18th March & Saturday 19th March 2022 at the Kalgoorlie International Speedway.
Eighty one entries have been received for the 34th running of the event which will be held for the first time in the Goldfields since 2002, although the Kalgoorlie International Speedway did host the National Title for the class in 2015.
Competitors from Kununurra in the North to Esperance in the South and every point in between make up the massive field with just about every Speedway club in the state represented.
Defending Champion Jamie Oldfield will be chasing a three peat as well as trying to become the first five time Western Australian Champion in SSA Street Stocks.
Three former winners Jack Barnewall (Collie 2019), Hayden Norman (Carnarvon 2018) & Wayne Thomson (Kalgoorlie 2002 & Esperance 2004) are in field along with the current WA2 Damon Lyall and former runner ups Jace Kempton (Shark Bay 2016) & Paul Briggs (Esperance 2015).
Official Practice is scheduled for the Thursday Afternoon to be held between 4-6pm ahead of the two big nights of competition.
