After the opening night of competition for the Westralia Cup at the IFuels Carnarvon Speedway, it is State Champion Jake Hoath who leads the points.
Hoath, local hope Jace Kempton and defending winner Damon Lyall all won two heat races each, but Hoath’s second place in his opening heat race puts him on top after three rounds.
A number of drivers have work to do overnight with many succumbing to mechanical issues, while there was also a few on track incidents resulting in the need for repair.
Also on the program are SSA Junior Sedans with Seth Townsend and Joel Bowman leading the New Star and Top Star points respectively, while Jack McAuley leads the Production Sedans and Sam McAuley survived a large bicycle to hold the points in the Modified Sedans.
Racing will get back underway from 5pm tonight and you can watch it all on Clay-Per-View.
