Dustin Higgs put together a polished performance to claim Round Three of the 2021/2022 WA Super Sedan Summer Series held last night at the Make Smoking History Collie Speedway.
Higgs who was aboard his the family owned Sweet for the night took the lead on lap four from veteran Kevin Bell before recording a 2.3 second victory over Broome’s Phil Barton with Bell finishing a distant third.
Round two winner Rob Knox & Lee Aylett made wheel to wheel contact on the opening lap sidelining both competitors after enjoying solid nights in the heat races.
Just eight cars remained with just one lap completed as Higgs took the lead with Barton quickly into second place.
Veteran Kemble Aylett retired from the race on lap fourteen as Higgs worked his way through traffic on route to victory at the venue that will host the 2021/2022 SSA WA Super Sedan State Title in late February 2022.
Kevin Bell was the only car on the lead lap as Adyme Harvey, Kyle Larson, Ryan Huxtable & Darren Larson completed the finishers.
