The Speedway Sedans Australia, Coopers National Street Stock Title is now just under a fortnight away, and with a massive car count of more than 120 drivers, for some competitors, competing in the event, and being part of the experience is what it is all about.

Twenty four year old Haydon Jolly is one such driver, and with Adelaide Motorsports Park only 15 minutes away, Jolly, from Angle Vale, is one of the closest to the venue.

Jolly will by competing in his second National Title after being at his first at Ballarat, which amassed 139 entries.

The last title I did great, I had an absolute ball and the experience was like no other, I was just glad to be a part of it and to try a different track, he said

This time around, and with two more years of experience under his belt, he will be racing on a track he is a regular at. I am looking forward to mostly being on a track that I have had a lot of experience on, living only 15 mins away from A.M.P and the experience I have accumulated over my three seasons of racing, I will put into practice and see how we go, Jolly adds.

Jolly believes some South Australian drivers will be very hard to beat at the Title. Craig Buchanan is looking to be in fine form, Mark Jennings has the FG on song and Andy Maxwell Jnr can steer, Jolly said

Meanwhile, Jolly will be behind the wheel of an EL Falcon. I pilot an EL Falcon powered by 4.0L of fury! I have only had this car since the end of the 16/17 season after debuting it at Ballarat for the national title, he adds.

Last Season, Jolly was awarded the Most Improved driver at the MJS Series Presentation Night, and the Speedway Drivers Association Presentation Night.

Haydon Jolly would like to thank the following:
Mischs Mechanical, Hills Auto Boutique and the whole speedway family in general for everything that everybody does either lending parts or offering advice. It is a good atmosphere at any race meeting I have been too. I would also like to add a massive thankyou to my partner Danii for not only helping out with this car but also being crazy enough to jump in the car with me at most meetings. Family a friends for their infinite support no matter the outcome of the nights racing.

I have been to nearly every meeting conducted in SA where possible. I am a huge fan of the MJS rounds conducted in South Australia and I try my hardest to get to all the events. I just really enjoy the sport, the achievements are just a bonus. It will be really good to see where I stack up in this Country given I have not yet won a feature race, he concludes.
