Callum Harper has become the third feature race winner of the Walsh Marine Services Tasmanian Super Sedan Series after taking the win in round three at Cranes Combined Carrick Speedway last night.
Harper took out a win and a third in his heat races to qualify on pole position for the shortened feature race. Adam Beechey and David Nichols also took out a heat race each to join Harper at the front of the pack for the final.
Harper got the jump from Beechey and fired off into the lead. An early yellow brought the field back together for a complete restart, with Harper again winning the start. Steve Latham moved to second by Beechey, and Robbie Bird got to fourth passing Nichols.
Curfew brought the race to an end on lap 12 with Harper two seconds clear of Latham in second. Beechey was third, with Bird and Nichols rounding out the top five in fourth and fifth respectively.
The fourth round of the 2020/2021 Tasmanian Super Sedan Series is set for the 13th of March 2021 at the Solo Hobart Speedway.
