Press Release by Luke Nichols

Callum Harper has taken out his seventh feature race win of the season by winning round seven of the Victorian Super Sedan series.

Ben Faulkhead took the win in the first heat race of the night. Lucas Roberts took out a dramatic last lap heat race win in heat number two.

Harper would then go back to back in heat race three and four to earn himself pole position for the twenty lap main event.

Harper was joined on the front row by Mick Nicola Jnr.

Harper and Nicola set off at a great pace, running in close quarters for the opening couple of laps before the caution lights were on for Faulkhead who had made contact with the wall and would exit the race.

From the restart Harper got away to five car length lead from Nicola in second and Roberts in third. Nicola began to reel in Harper in the closing stages, but was under immense pressure from Roberts himself.

Roberts made the pass for second, and set out after Harper with five laps remaining. Roberts was right on Harpers tail with two laps to go.

Roberts briefly hit the front in turns three and four on the penultimate lap before Harper railed the top side to go on and greet the chequered flag.

The top three were separated by just seven tenths of a second with Roberts in second and Nicola Jnr rounding out the podium in third.
