Another stout field of twenty two Speedway Sedans Australia Super Sedans will head to Autoklene Hobart Raceway this Saturday night for round four of the Tazz Auto Shots Tasmanian Super Sedan Series brought to you by Nets Tasmania.

It has been the Callum Harper show thus far this season, claiming both feature races, including this past weekend at Latrobe.

Harper has a commanding lead at the top of the Tazz Auto Shots TSSS points standings, and will be gunning for his third Tazz Auto Shots TSSS feature win in a row to give him some further breathing space from the chasing pack.

Harper was pushed all the way in Latrobe by Launceston veteran David Nichols who was making his first start of the season, and was very happy with his car’s performance.

“The car was awesome, I don’t know if we would have had anything for Callum, but a little bit of traffic certainly would have made it interesting”

Nichols will be hoping to go one better in Hobart on Saturday night, and look to reduce the deficit to Harper in the Tazz Auto Shots TSSS points standings.

Adam Beechey rounded out the podium at Latrobe, and will be looking to move to the top step of the podium on Saturday night. Beechey will make his second start of the season, and will be hoping to break into the top ten of the points standings.

Steve Latham was next across the line at Latrobe, and after a frustrating opening round on his home track, Latham will be looking to surge towards the front and put on a show for his home town fans in Hobart on Saturday night.

Also on his home track on Saturday night will be Leon Cleary who has had two strong points nights thus far this season. Cleary will be chasing another strong points performance to solidify his position in the top three of the points standings.

Looking to bounce back after a disappointing night at Latrobe will be Laura Davidson.

Davidson was really strong in the opening round, taking home a runner up finish, but struggled at Latrobe and ended the race parked up on the infield.

Davidson will head to her home track looking to repeat her round one efforts and get back on the podium on Saturday night.

Luke Gunn captured his first top five finish of the season at Latrobe, and will head to his home track of Hobart on Saturday chasing his first podium finish of the season.

Racing is scheduled to kick off at 6pm with each driver set to tackle two heat races to set the field for the thirty lap main event brought to you by Nets Tasmania.
