Josh Harm has raced home to win a brutal Modified Sedan Fraser Coast Cup at Fraser Shores Maryborough Speedway.

Aidan Raymont jumped away from pole position in the thirty lap feature to open up a comfortable early lead during the early stages.  On lap 8 when a spectacular fire on the Brendon Bayfield Falcon brought on the first caution.  While Bayfield was ok, Raymont pulled to the infield during the stoppage with a flat tyre forcing him out of the event.  At the restart Steven Quirk, Myles Gilroy and Darran Lester pit on a titanic battle until Harmy (who started from position 7), worked his way forward around the top of them to take over the lead midway through the feature race.

With only a handful of laps to go, Josh Arthur had worked his way up to fourth position while challenging Myles Gilroy for the final podium position.  As Arthur came out of turn two he hit the back straight fence causing him to roll his Holden Commodore.  Arthur quickly jumped from unhurt the car as a small engine fire erupted during the roll.

At the restart, Josh Harm ran away to win by just over 1 second ahead of Darran Lester and Myles Gilroy.  Jarrod Peacock, Kev Young, Wayne Gilroy and Brenton Scott where the only finishes on a tough race track after the rain earlier in the week.

Earlier in the night, heat wins went the way of Aidan Raymont (2), Steven Quirk, Brenton Scott, Darran Lester, Russell Harris, Aidan Raymont, Stephen Geritz, Josh Arthur and Myles Gilroy.

Despite the tricky conditions, the Modified Sedans put on some fast and furious racing that was enjoyed by a solid crowd that came in late to watch the Fraser Coast Cup and the return of a mighty field of Modified Sedans.

Massive thanks for the Maryborough club for putting on the event and all the drivers for supporting it.
