Not too far away from putting his National Title on the line, Josh Harm last night raced his way to victory at Maryborough Speedway in the SSA Production Sedan CBM Series.
Rory Evans would take the initial lead in the twenty-lap feature race, ahead of Billy Macdonald, Neil Keldoulis and Harm.
Harm got by Keldoulis quickly, with Queensland Champion Kurtis Peall following him through.
Up front Evans was under siege from Macdonald, who was able to steal the lead on lap six only to lose it back to Evans the very next lap.
Macdonald continued to apply the pressure and got back by for the lead on lap eight, at the same time as Peall was able to sneak past Harm for third.
Peall then got by Evans for second, with Harm following him through a couple of laps later, before shooting back by Peall for second.
With five to go it was Macdonald leading Harm and Peall, but lap sixteen saw Har m take over the point and begin to race away into the lead. Peall would get by Macdonald for second with two laps to go, while Jordan Schultz came from nowhere to steal third on the final lap from Macdonald.
Also on the same program Darren Ciesiolka claimed victory in the SSA Street Stocks feature ahead of Peter Kluytenberg and Andrew Norton, while Baxter Attard and Millie Butcher won the Top Star and New Star SSA Junior Sedan feature races respectively.
