Riley Hanson from Kellerberrin in Western Australia has made the long trip to the Tennant Creek Speedway worthwhile after claiming victory in the 2021 SSA Junior Sedan Northern Territory Title on Sunday Night.
Hanson had a race long battle with Tennant Creek local Michael Jones for the majority of the race, as the stars of the future put on a great show for the public holiday weekend crowd.
Jones tried everything to hold off the Western Australian with the Hyundai Excel hitting the lead within sight of the finish.
The margin of victory at the end of the twenty five laps was just over four seconds with the Daihatsu Charade of Darwin’s River Spitzbarth officially third.
A big congratulations to all the competitors who took part in the Northern Territory Title and the host club who provided a fantastic venue for the two nights of action.
Speedway Sedans Northern Territory will now turn its attention to the 2021 SSA Street Stock NT Title to be held at the Katherine Speedway on Saturday 10th July 2021.
