After many years of trying Jayden Hancock has finally broken through for his first State Title victory after claiming victory at in the 2024 SSA Junior Sedan Queensland State Title last night at the Maryborough Speedway.
Hancock led all twenty five laps to defeat Bundaberg’s AJ Macdonald and Gympie’s Braydon Steffens in an entertaining main event which was the final State Title of the season for Speedway Sedans Queensland.
Forty Three Junior Sedans representing four different states contested the nineteenth staging of the event with the Maryborough venue the host for the fifth time.
Triple State Champion River Paterson started in position seventeen after having to come through one of the two B Mains with the Raslaar Engineering Mitsubishi Lancer storming home to be fourth by race end.
It was an all Queensland top three as Hancock held off AJ Macdonald and Braydon Steffens to become the Queensland Champion.
The Kingaroy Speedway will be the host of the 2025 SSA Junior Sedan Queensland State Title with a date to be confirmed in the next few weeks.
