Michael Hamon proved way too good at the Quit Bunbury Speedway on Saturday night, making light work of his Street Stock opposition in the all sedan schedule to start the new season.

Hamon, a two times National Champion was convincing all night, winning all three qualifying heats and the fifteen lap A Main.

Two times State Champion, Wayne Thomson had no answers, finishing second in two of the three qualifying heats, while Collie based driver, Damon Thomson also figured in the placings.

In the A Main, Hamon lapped all but second and third, to sound an ominous warning to the Street Stock drivers in Western Australia that he will be very hard to beat. Hamon won by half a lap, with Wayne Thomson and Damon Thomson finishing second and third. Dylan Magee was impressive in his first ever race meeting, finishing second in the third heat of the night, before finishing fourth in the A Main.
