Nominations are now open for the ‘Moore Trailers’ Production Sedan Golden Helmet Shootout presented by ‘Cush Clothing’ at Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway.
This exciting event will be held over two exciting nights on 17th & 18th September to kick off a massive season in Toowoomba.

Golden Helmet Shootout Winner – $500
$60 to everyone else that starts the first heat but finishes outside the top 10 in the feature
Format
Night 1- 2 Heats2 x 15 lap Mini Features (for heat points)
Night 2- 2 Heats Cush Clothing Golden Helmet Shootout B Main – 15 laps A Main – 30 laps (20 cars)The Cush Clothing Golden Helmet Shootout will pay $500 to win and will involve the top 10 drivers after the two nights.
Starting order will be heads up (highest points on pole) and will be a 10 car dash over 8 intense laps.
The winner will pocket a cool $500, but finishing order will be inverted for the feature, so the winner of the Shootout will start from position 10 in the feature, 2nd in the shootout will start 9th in the A Main and so on.
If any car that qualifies for the Shootout (the Top 10) and doesn’t start the event or doesn’t finish the shootout will start behind the invert.
(9 cars finish – the 10th place car will start from position 10 in the feature, with the shootout winner starting from position 9).

Make no mistake this will be an epic event for Production Sedans on an exciting two night show that features the Thunder on the Down Sprintcar event that has already attracted interest from drivers from around the country.
Free camping for competitors in the pits is allowed before, during or after the event and the newly refurbished showers will be open to be used.
