Jordan Biviano has continued to etch out his niche in history, last night claiming his fourth SSA Production Sedan NSW Title in a row, this time at Lismore Speedway.
Biviano didn’t have it all his own way though, starting the thirty five lap final from position nineteen and having to fight his way through, outlasting stoppages and withdrawals in a race that took nearly half an hour to run.
Matt Vicary started from pole position alongside Brodie Hollyman, with Hollyman racing into the lead ahead of Vicary and Richard Cook.
Hollyman raced away and looked to be well on his way to victory before a tyre issue saw him infield, with Cook racing into the lead for a couple of laps before Vicary got by and took over the point.
Cook continued to apply the pressure and was able to eventually get back by, Dale Corbett following him through into second a couple of laps later.
Behind them Biviano was charging through the field and slotted into third behind Corbett by lap twenty.
Unfortunately Cook and Corbett would both meet their demise, seeing Biviano head into the lead and from here he never looked back.
Behind him, Thomas Fuller, who started fifth and dropped as low as seventh, was also fighting his way back through and slotted back into second, while Jacob Croker, who started eleventh, raced into third after getting by Vicary with a handful of laps to go.
Neil Keldoulis, who started from twentieth alongside Biviano also moved forward and into fourth before Vicary got back by in the dying stages, but up front it mattered little, Biviano claiming the win, his fourth in a row after previous victories at Grafton and two in a row at Dubbo.
Fuller and Croker would round out the podium.
