FIELD RELEASED FOR SSA SUPER SEDANS WA STATE TITLE

The field for the rescheduled 2019/2020 SSA Super Sedans WA State Title to be held at Albany’s Attwell Park Speedway on Saturday 7th November 2020 has today been released.

Twenty five entries have been received for the 52nd running of the event with the list of nominations to form the strongest line up seen for a SSA Super Sedan event in Western Australia for many years.

The event was originally scheduled for the Easter weekend earlier this year, with many competitors due to have their first race meeting of the new season at the State Title.

Mount Barker’s Chris Pavlovich will defend the title at a venue he knows well aboard his Southern Haulage Sweet Chassis as perennial poduim place getter Gary Higgs will look to finally break through for his maiden victory.

Higgs has remarkably finished on the podium on nine occasions, five times as the runner up and four times in third place.

Broome based competitors Warren Minshull and Phil Barton pose the biggest threats in the field to Higgs and Pavlovich with Minshull having won twice previously at Esperance in 2015/2016 and at Albany in 2017/2018.

Third Generation peddler Lee Aylett will proudly carry the W4 number in honour of his late grandfather Bert Vosbergen who won the SSA Super Sedans WA State Title on four occasions.
