This weekend the Speedway Sedans Australia IBRP / AHI National Modified Sedan Title will be held at the Kingaroy Speedway with one driver announcing that it will be the end of the road.
Bryan Galley, who has attended fifteen National Modified Sedan Titles has announced this will be his last, with Galley to drive a Toyota Lexcen in this years Title, which now has 100 entries.
Galley, a veteran of 35 years of racing, has promised his wife Lisa that once he turned fifty, he would not buy another license.
There is only one way to race Kingaroy, hold it flat and turn the wheel(at time trials at the Kings Royal one year I was 3rd quick), Galley said.
I am really looking forward to catching up with friends and bloody good racing, he added.
I have learnt from Titles they are never easy. Our season started off slow with car issues, and I have not done much driving as Ty has raced most of the time, Galley said.
I am looking forward to racing all the competitors. No one in particular, though I believe Aidan Raymont (in form), Kye Walters (in form Victorian) and Ash Parkinson (you can never underestimate the big guy) are three to beat. To make the final and finish the final, would be great, I have only ever finished one and that was fifth at Albany,he added.
Galley won the 2014 NSW Modified Sedan Title and was the runner-up in the South Australian Title held earlier this year.
Galley would like to thank the following sponsors:
Tritech Lubricants
Ramsdale Wreckers
Mildura Crash Supplies
Wayson Oil
Threadworkz
Hayden Racecars
Ash Media Speedway Footage
Wise Steel.
