Moora’s Dale Cockman has stormed home to claim victory in Round Two of the 2025 Production Sedan Four Crowns Series presented by Jim’s Test & Tag at the Pithara Speedway yesterday.

Cockman tracked down early race leaders in Graeme McSweeney and three time state champion Kye Blight to wrestle victory in the race meeting which doubled as the Kevan Joyce Memorial.

Eighteen Production Sedans were on hand for the daytime race meeting at the wheatbelt venue that was conducted in perfect conditions.

Blight and McSweeney shared the front row for the twenty lap main event as the two AFI Towing Holden Commodores raced side by side in the early laps.

The first stoppage of the race occurred when Wayne Leviston and Dale Cockman got together while battling for third place on lap five with the steward allowing both competitors to restart in their original places as it was deemed a racing incident.

McSweeney seemed to be getting the better of the battle between himself and Blight as Cockman began to run down the leaders.

Cockman hit the lead on lap fourteen as Blight and McSweeney tried to fight back in the Moora Automotive Falcon.

Lap seventeen saw the demise of McSweeney as he came to a stop in turn three, leading to a three lap run to the flag.

It was to be Dale Cockman’s race as he held off the challenge of Kye Blight to take victory in the event for the second time in his career from Blight and the Ford Mustang of Dylan Parkes who claimed the final spot on the podium from Eddie Holt and veteran John Castagna.

The Pithara Speedway Club produced a fantastic racing surface for the competitors and a great venue for the second round of the 2025 Production Sedan Four Crowns Series.

Competitors will now get themselves ready for the third round of the series which will be conducted on Sunday 14th September at the Ellenbrook Speedway in conjunction with the RDA Production Sedan Classic.
