Although much of Australia has been shivering through the Winter break, racing at the Cairns Speedway has been hot, with the Junior Sedans racing at all four nights of the Thunder in the Canefields recently.
The 1st of August was the opening night, with no official result in the feature, but the second night saw Jacob Mollenoyux take the feature win from Jai Cotterell and Jaydyn Hawkins.
The following weekend saw cars return to the track and Bray Taylor would take wins on both Friday and Saturday, defeating Livi Jorgensen and Jai Cotterell on the first night, and then Mollenoyux and Huxley Jorgensen on the second.
The New Star Juniors also had a feature race on the final night with Lachlan Lavis defeating Millie Butcher and Jaxon Geary.
Cairns Speedway‘s next meeting will be Saturday the 6th of September.
