The 2025/26 Bunbury Speedway season came to an end on the weekend, with great fields contesting the Peter Finch Street Stock Summer Cup and Production Sedan Gold Cup.

In the SSA Street Stocks it was WA Champion Mick Hamon who showed the rest of the field the way home, leading every circulation to claim the win. Matt Hammond would hold down second early before retiring infield with an ailing machine, seeing Ash Con-Goo, debuting a new car, racing into second.

Blake Iwanow then arrived on the scene and after a battle with Con-Goo that saw the duo exchange positions multiple times, Iwanow finally claimed the position all for himself on lap eighteen while Con-Goo retired infield.

This moved Peter Herbert into third and the final seven laps would see no changes, Hamon crossing the line nearly six and a half seconds in the non-stop race ahead of Iwanow with Herbert third.

In the SSA Production Sedans Clint Noakes would take control of the twenty-five lap feature race early, racing away ahead of Wayne Leviston who momentarily moved into second place before being passed by Kane McDiarmid and Jamie Higgs.

McDiarmid and Higgs would trade places on lap eight, and a few laps later Noakes would head infield with dramas, seeing Higgs inherit the lead from Barry Rose, who had gotten past McDiarmid at the same time.

The very next lap though McDiarmid would get back by, while two laps later Rose would join the growing numbers on the infield, Higgs now leading McDiarmid and Leviston.

With seven to go McDiarmid would make his way back past Higgs for the lead and from here he raced away, crossing the line over five and a half seconds ahead of Higgs with Leviston third.

Also on the program was the Junior Sedans, with former National Champion Harrison Beres claiming the Top Stars feature win after a dominant day, defeating Ellie Watt and Jesse Hamon, while Sebastian Dimasi was best in the New Stars, crossing the line ahead of Blake Noakes and Mannix Wells.
