The Junior Sedans put on a terrific show in front of a great crowd at Hi-Tec Oils Speedway for the opening round of the Speedway Sedans Australia Toowoomba City 5 Star Series.
In total, 15 Junior Sedans started the night and 15 lined up for the feature.
It was Hayden Brims who got the win in the closing stages to sneak by Brad Pascoe with only a lap to go. Brodie Hollyman put in a stellar drive to finish third ahead of Jaiden Santin and Zac Brims.
Although the new stars raced with the top stars, everyone did a terrific job with minimal stoppages alright, on another brilliantly prepared race track. Jacob Waller took the win ahead of Sophie Santin, Bailey Payne, Levi OBrien and Charlotte Christensen.
The feature was delayed for an extended period after Imogen Skyes made heavy contact with the wall and was taken to Toowoomba Hospital for precautionary checks. We wish Imogen a speedy recovery and hope shes feeling okay.
All in all it was a great night of Junior Sedan racing and we look forward to having them back for round 2 on 17 January 2020 along with the opening night of the Queensland Modified Sedan Title.
