The Speedway Sedans WA, West Australian Production Sedan Title will be contested this weekend, with a high quality field to take part at the Make Smoking History Collie Speedway, in the South West of Western Australia.

Fifty nine drivers will contest the title, with defending Champion Drew Ogle heading the line-up. The field also includes former State Champion, Richard Nelson, along with five times and former two times National Champion Ron Belfield.

The field also includes former National Champions, Rod Musarra and Tim Green, along with Kane McDiarmid who has finished on the National Podium in the last two seasons. Add to this, Rick Musarra and Beau Riley who finished on the podium at the State Title last season, along with Barry Rose and Kyle Sayre who have both finished in the top three in the 2016 and 2015 State Titles, and a great weekend of racing is assured.

Rose has never won the title, but has seven Feature wins to his name, including the last at the Collie venue amongst a high quality field in the Collie Championships.

Others who are sure to figure prominently include Travis Castagna who won the Production Sedan Sizzle a fortnight ago, Jeff Kendall, Frank Does and Paul Stevens to name but a few.

Official practice will be held on Thursday between 4.00pm and 6.00pm WST with free entry for spectators. Racing will be held on Friday and Saturday nights from 6.00pm with eighteen qualifying heats to be contested on Friday night, while the final round of heats will be held on Saturday night, before the three finals.

All of the action can be heard live and free on the Speedway Sedans Australia website, on Channel 1.
