A large field of Street Stock have entered for Saturday nights opening event, at the Gulf Western and Independent Oils Raceway, Latrobe, which includes interstate drivers.
Last Saturday night, Dale Riley Jnr started the Tasmanian season in the best way possible, by winning the twenty lap Feature Race. He didnt have it all his own way though, with Steven Harvey leading for three quarters of the race, and John Riley who was second behind Harvey for all of this period, failed to finish.
All three drivers along with Nick Anderson, Aaron Bradley and Damien Hall who finished second, third and fourth respectively in last Saturday nights A Main, are all entered for Latrobe.
Two Interstate drivers will also compete, with Victorian Tory Polley to be joined by three times National Champion Brad McClure. Both will drive Tasmanian cars, but are also likely to be prominent across the night.
