After breaking the rear control arm in his second heat, which relegated eventual winner Joel Berkley to start down the back of the A Main, has raced home to win one of the most remarkable Production Sedan drives witnessed at the Toowoomba venue.
Berkley ran against the concrete for twenty straight laps to win the opening round of the Fox Shocks Labs Australia Toowoomba Series.
Berkley’s drive in the feature was truly amazing as he ran the fence to work his way to the front. With only a handful of laps remaining, Berkley had made his way to second behind Amy Evans who had dominated the entire night with 2 heat wins.
At the restart, Evans Skyline slowed and she unfortunately retired from the race and pulled to the infield. Berkley went on to win ahead of Adrian Stott, Chris Evans, Thomas Fuller and DJ Lennon.
The Production Sedan racing all night was first class as every driver put on an incredibly good show for the sell out 1,000 person crowd and the big Clay Per View audience.

The Production Sedans put on a remarkable show with great racing and minimal stoppages all night. Ash McKellar put down the fastest lap of the night of 16.612 second, which is just outside the one lap record.
