BEAREY GOES BALLISTIC ON NIGHT ONE OF THE SSA VICTORIAN STREET STOCK TITLE

South Australian Anthony Beare is the overnight points leader following an unbeaten run on night one of the Victorian Title at Sonic Speedway Swan Hill. Beare finishes night one with the perfect 108 points score.

Following closely was Morris Ahearn who had two out of three heat race wins, with the top two drivers yet to face off with a speed comparison.

Three-time Queensland Street Stock Champion Matt Nelson is a very close third following a heat race win in the final round and two forward placings in the other two heats. Nelson sits third on 87 points.

Recent heavy rainfall has plenty of moisture soaked into the racing surface which developed some hair raising ruts across the bottom with a few drivers coming unstuck trying to run through them. The winners kept the noses clean and gauged the racing line the best each time.

Anthony Beare has the fastest lap of the weekend with a 20.499 in heat 1B. Scott Secombe is second quick with a 20.62 in heat 1C. While Paul Domberg is third fastest with 20.653 in heat 1B also.
