Third generation Super Sedan pilot Lee Aylett has taken victory in round five of the 2020/2021 WA Super Sedan Summer Series held at the Mount Barker Speedway yesterday afternoon.
The fifth round doubled as the annual Mount Barker Super Sedan Classic and was held in near perfect conditions for Speedway.
Busselton’s Kevin Bell unfortunately had a monster “bicycle” in the main event while challenging for a podium position in the W5.
Aylett was challenged by the W3 Sweet throughout the twenty laps but was equal to the pressure as the State Champion Gary Higgs spun just as he had moved into second place.
Lee Aylett’s father Kemble crossed the line in third place creating a memorable moment for the family.
Super Sedans in the West will now turn their attention to the 2020/2021 WA State Title to be held at the Make Smoking History Bunbury Speedway on Saturday 20th March 2021.
Official Result of the 2021 Mount Barker Super Sedan Classic.
