Thirty entries have been received for the upcoming 2021/2022 SSA Modified Sedan WA State Title to be held at Albany’s Attwell Park Speedway on Saturday 22nd January 2022.
The size of the field is the biggest for the event since 2014 as the class enjoys a resurgence in the West.
Defending champion Jayke Malcolm defends the Title he won at Collie back in March with former winners Branden Fraser (Kalgoorlie 2020), Anthony King (Narrogin 2018), Aydan Trewern (Carnarvon 2015), Mick Johnson (2012 Carnarvon & 2011 Broome), Allan Mortimer (2009 Esperance) & Brendan Selleck (2008 Kalgoorlie) all in the field.
Margaret River’s Lee Watt was the runner up way back in 2001 with former placegetters Luke Fraser, Coby Stevens & Luke Fraser & Rick Musarra forming apart of a highly credentialed line up.
Albany locals Laurie Dowsett, Calon Ball & Jason Batchelor have shown plenty of car speed this season on home turf and will relish having such a big event in their own backyard.
Official Practice will be held on Friday 21st January 2021 from 4-6pm.
