The Ivix Industries South West Sedan Championship will return for its third year in its current format with some massive changes ahead for the season.
Biggest of all, the prize money increase.
The series will be run during the first half of the Summer Speedway Season to make way for the major events happening in the region during the second half.
Starting off again at the Make Smoking History Collie Speedway’s Opening Night on October 23, the second and third round of the series will be on back-to-back weekends with the Trade Hire Augusta Margret River Speedway hosting round two on November 20 with the Tyrepower Manjimup Speedway backing it up on November 27.
The grand final will be again hosted at the Make Smoking History Bunbury Speedway on December 11, meaning the whole series this year will be run in the space of eight weeks.
As stated before, there has been a prize increase for the points fund for the third year, with now $6,000 going to both the Production Sedans and Street Stocks Top-10.
More news will be added in the coming weeks with all four clubs working together to ensure the growth of the series in the region.
